The word church means assenbly or called out. But called out to or from
what? Jesus tells the Jews "because I tell you the truth, you believe me not" John 8:44-45, "because ye believe not that I
am he, ye shall die in your sins"John 8:24 Jesus says to Peter after his great confession "And thou art Peter and upon this
rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" Mt 16:18, in Acts 20:28 we are
told, "Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed
the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood"

Ephesians 1:22 & 23 "And hath put all things under his feet, and hath made him to
be the head over all things to the CURUCH, which is his BODY,
the fullness of him that filleth all in all" 1 Cor 12:27 "Ye are the body of Christ and members in particular"
The Lord expects us to meet as often as he commands us to Heb 10:25 "Forsaking not the assembling of yourselves together,
as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another in so much the more as ye see the day approaching"
